Where are the Dreamers?

...asked a leading academician. We need great minds who can dream. Only they can herald the much needed change and creativity.

Said another dear one: Whenever I am stressed, I dream of something nice – of being in a nice place, doing something I like, wearing something nice, etc.

Did I ever dream of this? N-O!

Said another colleague: I have always dreamed of being a princess; dressed in flowing gowns and wearing nice jewellery!

Did I ever dream of this? Honestly, N-O!

And that’s when it dawned on me: I do not dream. I have never indulged in conscious dreaming of 'all things nice and beautiful'.

And now, I feel a strong urge to dream of my world full of ‘all things nice and beautiful’. So, in this new year, I embark on my dream-series. And here goes the first one:

I dream of:
  • A beautiful me...from inside and from outside
  • A happy, healthy, and loving family
  • Being surrounded by warm, wonderful people
  • Being able to witness and enjoy nature’s beauty and abundance
  • Being creative
  • Excelling at work
  • Perfection in everything that I do
  • Laughing like a child – straight from the gut
  • Child-like enthusiasm
  • Getting to know my true self
